TOP 5 MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKERS IN INDIA IN 2023

Wisdom India No. 1 Blog

We first published this list in 2012 and by 2023 we have seen a lot of changes on it. Our team at WisdomIndia has been doing intensive research on the arena of motivational speakers in India.

As you already know motivational speakers provide informative and inspirational speeches to clusters of people. They are employed mostly by corporates, government institutions, event organizers and schools to speak on topics such as living a healthy lifestyle, organizing one’s personal life, or business and financial success.Great motivational speakers are experts in tailor fitting their messages to their audiences whether it is a crowd of business executives or a class of secondary students.

Motivational speakers help individuals motivate mental, spiritual, social, physical, financial and career aspects of their lives. And great motivational speakers work hard in maintaining and developing their abilities and verbal communication skills, as this is a vital element of the job.

A good motivational speaker should do research to continuously keep up with trends and events regarding the subject matter that they speak about. They must also have the skill to converse with their audiences after every speech to offer consultations and answer queries. Considered experts in their field, motivational speakers are looked to when insights are essential in that given area.

In the western world, especially in America, motivational speakers like Tony Robbins, Les Brown, Zig Ziglar, Jack Canfield, Jim Rohn and Bob Proctor have helped businesses and people grow and reach their true potential. Some of these speakers speak more than 200 days in a calendar year. 3. Would surely be The Happionaire Way! Superb list though!

      1. I agree! I have heard the excellent talks given by Naseer Khan but Yogesh Chabria’s speeches are so different from everything else. His talks have helped me with several other areas of life and he brings in a sense of joy, peace and bliss. Also what I love is he too belonged to a very humble and simple middle class family and his success tips are so easy and universal.

Now I feel more postive which has helped me move ahead with my work and sales target and also spend more time with the family. Anyone not hearing him is missing out on something amazing! So great to be a Happionaire!

He and another one is Zig Ziglar!

      2. I love a few guys and the coolest Motivational Speaker is Yogesh Chabria of the Happionaire Way and very entertaining and what is more powerful about him is that he too comes from a very humble and midlde class background like so many of us buy went on to create something so beautiful and his quote is so powerful where he says that even when you have nothing you have everything:

“When You Have Nothing, You Use Your Mind Even More And Then You Realize You Have Everything and Can Fulfill Every Dream
By Taking Action!” – Yogesh Chabria, The Happionaire Way

He is in the league of Naseer Khan mixed with Brian Tracy and Jack Canfiled.

      3. shocking how much Yogesh Chabria charges….we wanted to invite him and are a university….. i checked on http://www.happionaire.com/ and got to know he charges over rs. 5 lakhs per seminar and i don’t think that is worth it!!!!!! I wonder why people pay so much to him!!!!!!! only big corporate can afford this type of money and not universities….i guess we have to do with his books and watching videos…..

    4. There are two motivational speakers I will call the best from India and the World the first is Yogesh Chabria – because he brings a change from within. Our company has seen the amazing results with his Happionaire Way – http://www.happionaire.com and second is Deepak Chopra – http://www.deepakchopra.com

      1. I agree one of India’s best motivational speakers is Yogesh Chabria. He is very humble and whatever is shared is from real experiences. I recently attended his address at the Life Insurance Round Table.

      2. If you compare the cost to benefit ratio, Alok Das is one of the most effective management trainers and motivational speakers. You can contact him for training at das_alok1247@rediffmail.com. Although I have attended severaI motivation training programs, I haven’t come across such a simple, down-to-earth trainer in India. Amazingly effective and powerful trainer who created a lasting impact on me.

    5. We are doing a series of articles and reviews on the top most motivational gurus in the World on http://motivategurus.blogspot.in/

Any suggestions on who all to add? Email on veeram442@gmail.com

    6. I have attended many motivational training workshops. But the trainer who was really effective and the best, no doubt, was Alok Das. Attended his workshop in Kolkata. Amazing energy and what subject knowlege! Mindblowing impact as a trainer and motivational speaker. Alok Das proclaims himself to be a Life Coach, Business strategist, Happiness Consultant, Motivational Speaker and Advertising consultant. During the interaction, he told us that he has cured many people of depression and has saved many students and individuals from committing suicide. Guys, you can contact him at alokdas234@gmail.com and das_alok1247@rediffmail.com and notice the difference. His USP is one-to-one counselling and emotional healing.

    7. There are hundreds of motivational speakers in India and all of them are good in their own way – but when you talk about best ou mean someone who brings in real results! To bring real results you need to not only think – but also act.
This is a great list and here is my list of best motivational speakers in India and even ones who speak Hindi.
      10. Ujjwal Patni
      9. TS Madan
      8. Priya Kumar
      7. Chetan Bhagat
      6. Shiv Khera
      5. Deepak Chopra
      4. Sandeep Maheshwari
      3. Robin Sharma
      2. Yogesh Chabria (though many complain he is not motivational speaker but entrepreneur – I disagree!)
      1. Naseer Khan (this one is the best of best!)

  2. Naseer Khan is the best motivational speaker in India.

If you feel your anger escalating, go for a brisk walk or run, or spend some time doing other favorite physical activities. 4. Very nice list. Would also like to ask what about people like Deepak Chopra and Yogesh Chabria? Why don’t you add a bit about them too. Have heard them speak and it is truly amazing and life impacting.

    1. Very nice list all are great! I guess the reason Yogesh Chabria and The Happionaire Way is not added is because this is more than just motivational speaking and a real experience which is spreading all over the world.

  5. Very Nice Blog Post. This topic has been very close to me So I have been reading a lot of Motivational Blog. One of my personal favourite speaker is Akash Gautam.

  6. Mr.Minocher Patel, Mr. Paul Robinson, Mr. Shiv Khera, Mr. T.S.Madaan and Mr. M Naseer Khan are really popular speakers. Speeches are motivational and have encouraged many people to reach their goals successfully.

  7. Naseer Khan is a better speaker, he is just fantabulous. The best motivational speaker in India.

  8. “Best motivational speakers in India” good list. but there r sum more good speakers 2.

  9. I have been in the presence of plenty of motivational speakers. As a sales person, the beginning of every year was ushered in by a motivational speaker who would lift us up so that we were ready to face the thousands of challenges facing us the whole year.

These motivational speakers were great. But, Naseer Khan stands out from them all as the foremost leader in his field. Spend time with him and you change. You’re not just motivated for the day. You literally feel yourself changing. So, what is it that makes Naseer Khan so different from the rest?

After studying a handful and seeing the relevant patterns, I know what makes Naseer Khan so different. He has answers. He has tools. His words are real life, ready to use now and relevant to everyone. His words aren’t empty. They don’t just lift you up and leave you hanging without the tools you need to make them work. That’s why I believe Naseer Khan is the best motivational speaker in India.

Naseer makes learning fun. We enjoy each minute in his presence. We don’t sit staring at the PPT slides even for a second. His wisdom is profound.

Naseer Khan is not a speaker but a genius. We got so much of wisdom with cutting edge knowledge. He started around 8 O’clock, and we had been sitting there tired and hungry since 10 am. This list is very helpful for event managers in India. Thanks. I found it at a good time.

I would like to add a couple of things though:

What makes a good motivational speaker?

If you are thinking about hiring a motivational speaker for your event or function, read more about the characteristics of good motivational speakers:

Flexible: Good motivational speakers are flexible in terms of how they deal with different crowds. They can quickly adapt or change their presentation or speaking style for a wide range of groups, making it personal for each and every client.

Professional: Good motivational speakers generally make a living out of their job, so they deal with each client professionally (they show up on time, get good briefs about the project, discuss any concerns beforehand and so forth).

Funny: While there’s a huge difference between a comedian and a motivational speaker, good keynote speakers are generally very entertaining people that can easily get a laugh out of their audience.

Strategic thinkers: Companies often hire motivational speakers for specific reasons – they might want to motivate their teams, or they need somebody inspiring to come and speak to their staff during troubled times. Good motivational speakers are usually strategic thinkers that provide out of the box, creative ideas and solutions that can address specific problems within a company.

Knowledgeable: Experienced motivational speakers have a wide general knowledge and have worked in a range of industries.
Sociable: Motivational speakers that often get bookings are usually very sociable people. Their ability to interact with the crowd and different people on a personal level contributes to their likability.

Creative: One of the reasons why people hire a motivational speaker (instead of getting somebody within the organisation to make a presentation) is because these speakers can come up with creative ways to motivate people. Being detached from the company gives the motivational speaker to see problems from an objective, independent point of view.

This is a very helpful list of the best motivational speakers in India.
There are many benefits to hiring a motivational speaker for your company’s events. They can motivate your employees to get more accomplished and they can offer some professional advice. Your employees can become tired of hearing your motivational speeches, but can really respond to a fresh perspective.

As people get comfortable in their positions and are no longer the new employee, they tend to do less work and feel they do not have to try to get the attention of the boss. Some even feel it is better to just blend into the others and not be exceptional, but mediocre. These types of feelings can come from being too comfortable and they can come from losing the passion they once felt for their job.

There have been studies that prove people will go through great lengths to get things accomplished if they feel the passion. If they lose the passion or never really had it in the first place, their productivity can decrease. A motivational speaker might just be the thing to give your employees back their passion for their jobs.

Hiring the right motivational speaker can really take a lot of work off your plate. The speaker is trained to motivate people and will know exactly what to say to really to motivate your employees. This will allow you to focus on your business and not on having to prepare a speech that will aw and inspire your employees for days to come.

Even the big corporate companies are hiring motivational speakers in India. A motivational speaker with the right kind of experience and competence can be a shot in the arm, he can bring in new energy and a fresh perspective. This is a good list of the “best Motivational Speakers In India” but you would do good to do your on research on all the speakers listed above individually in order to suit your needs. No doubt Naseer Khan is a class apart.

  27. I was reading the times of India online, saw the list of the best motivational speakers in India. This list is very useful. I think motivational speakers are doing a great job and there are a couple of really good ones. I also watched a documentary on BBC. It is a big industry now. I read a book The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari written by a famous Indian origin motivational speaker Robin Sharma, great wisdom. Can we include Robin Sharma in the list of “Top motivational speakers in India”?

Whenever you’re planning a corporate event or gathering, part of the program almost always includes a speech from professional speakers because this is usually the best time for employees to hear words of encouragement and be inspired by someone who’s gone through so much or has gone through the same things as they did.

When we hear the words professional speakers, we think of men and women with thundering voices, bluntly and loudly encouraging you to get up on your feet, stop moping and start moving. However, this isn’t exactly an exaggeration but speakers these days are not only limited to encouraging and inspiring. They can also be subject matter experts, tackling a topic or two that is relevant to your business, or they can also be leading authors, motivational speakers or leadership experts.

The truth is, the speaker you hire for your event is just as important as the venue and theme you decide on, as this will not only set the tone for the event, it will also enhance the activities you have planned therein. It will put participants in the proper frame of mind and will set their expectations for the coming months after.

Before you hire professional speakers though, you should know that there are several types that you can choose from. The first thing you need to do is determine exactly what your aim is in hiring a professional speaker – is it to educate? Motivate and inspire? Drive changes and growth? Or is it simply to entertain? Depending on your aim, the professional speakers you can choose to hire include the following:

    – Motivational speakers
    – Inspirational speakers
    – After-Dinner speakers
    – Branding Speakers
    – Business Coaches
    – Change Management Speakers
    – Corporate Comedian or Entertainment

Next, you need to determine why you want to hire a professional speaker. The biggest advantage of hiring speakers is that it motivates your employees to be more productive and if you are in the sales business, to increase sales. They will be able to tackle things like excellent work ethics and job perception. Some speakers will also be able to train employees to become better at their jobs.

Another advantage is that professional speakers can help you develop and maintain your employees’ well-being. Think of it as an investment for the years to come, especially if you hire speakers from companies who won’t charge you booking or administrative fees for their speakers’ appearance at your event. Not only will your employees be provided with the tools they need to become better at their jobs, they will also be more driven to do their jobs well after being taught essential skills and having their perceptions about their jobs heightened. This will enable them to give more input when necessary and make better decisions.

When hiring speakers, make sure you clearly establish upfront the purpose and topic of the event. You will also need to consider the audience demographic so that you can hire the most appropriate speaker to address them. You want employees to be inspired and hopeful so make sure you hire a speaker that doesn’t exaggerate his life stories and one that can understand what your employees are going through.

  34. Bhupinder Khattar Avatar
    Bhupinder Khattar

t s madaan is a good motivational speaker in India for Hindi speech. I likes him

    1. The good speaker should not be known for his language.
He/she speaks Hindi or English. He should be known for his wisdom, inspiration, motivation and the unique way of delivery . He should touch people’s life by his motivational speeches
Mr.Naseer khan is known for his absolutely unique stile of delivery . He inspires, motivates, people by his speeches. People love him for that . He is completely different from other.. I always like to attend his seminar

  35. This is a very good list of top motivational speakers in India. Public speaking is a difficult art to master. If you have previously achieved success with a presentation, a speech or even a wedding toast and are passionate about it then you may have the potential to become a great motivational speaker in India.

The job of a motivational speaker has recently gained a lot of popularity and many people are considering a profession in this industry, potentially earning $1,000′s – $100,000′s per seminar.

A number of efficient tips and strategies will help you achieve this goal. I can share these tips with you.

Do You have a Special Message to Deliver as a motivational speaker?

The greatest motivational speakers have something special to say, something that is derived from personal experiences. These people are successful because they speak on the basis of personal stories. Personal stories are convincing and easy to relate to.

If you are interested in a motivational speaker career, you should determine the specifics that you want to get across. What does your audience want to hear and can you deliver that kind of message? Being too general or vague will simply minimize your chances of success before you have even gotten started as a motivational speaker.

    You May Need a Mentor

You have always been a good public speaker and you believe that a motivational speaking career is right for you. The bad news is that it seems to be much easier said than done. Motivational speakers are a very specific group of orators. They influence the lives of others and as such, they hold tremendous responsibility. Learning from the best motivational speakers is a good idea. You can go and attend seminars of a great motivational speaker like Naseer Khan.

See what others are doing. Establish connections. Talk to highly professional motivational speakers and find the right mentor who will show you the tricks of this profession. Having a mentor will help you refine your skills as a motivational speaker.

    All the best!

    1. You are absolutely right J Brown.

      Thanks for suggestions.

  36. Lalit Sachdeva Avatar
    Lalit Sachdeva

Very informative article. But there are very few genuine motivational speakers in india n most o them keep repeating their memorized stuff from self help books. In corporate world we need good coaches and trainers who can turnaround the company. Until recently we had very few world class motivational speakers in india , we depended on the west but now the list of good motovational speakers in india is becoming longer.

    1. Mr. Lalit Sachdeva call Mr.Naseer khan to your organization. He will full fill the needs of your company and people. And after that you will not be depended on the west.

  37. I ‘m Proud Of Naseer Khan, I Hope To Attend His Speeches One Day Insha’Allah.

  38. TS Madaan is also a good motivational speaker..I saw his motivational video on Youtube many times..It keeps us energetic every time. His teaching style is very effective and natural…Every one can understand and follow on it easily.

  39. How to Choose the Right Motivational Speaker?
There are so many motivational speakers in India to choose from. But, I am going to help you select the best Motivational Speaker for your next event.
There are some basic questions you can ask yourself:

    – Is the speaker credible and trustworthy?
    – Does their message make sense for your audience?
    – Do they entertain, motivate or better yet inspire your audience?
    – Are they worthy of your time and investment?

The real question comes down to… What does your audience want to do better?

The messages delivered and stories told by most motivational speakers, leadership gurus and professional athletes have very little staying power beyond their initial presentations. It is just the nature of “motivation” – it is short lived. Most companies and organizations want their investment in a speaker to make a difference in the lives of the audience members.

Your audience will need to understand not only how the motivational speaker was able to change his life or accomplish a difficult task, but rather how they can make a lasting change in their own personal or professional life. Making this kind of change will require more than just simple motivation. It will take a presenter that will inspire your audience today; offer a program that will sustain the energy; and maintain the focus on the audience’s individual goals.

    The important topics are:

Five (5) Things Motivational Speakers Should Accomplish, But Typically Don’t
Three (3) Reasons Your Audience Will Not Stay Motivated
Six (6) Things You Should Look for When Selecting Motivational Speakers

After reviewing these topics, making a decision on your next motivational speaker should be a whole lot easier. If you decide that you are simply looking for a motivational speaker that will just entertain your audience then your options are almost limitless. However, if you want to truly inspire your audience to new levels of performance then you really need to take a look at the program that top motivational speakers in India have developed.
The concepts top motivational speakers teach apply to business, sports and your personal life. As you would expect, great keynote speeches, presentations and workshops avoid the pitfalls of typical motivational speakers. Your audience will be impressed with their new found abilities. Everyone will walk away with an understanding of how to:

    1. Improve their personal performance (or the performance of those around them)
    2. Identify, create and manage change in their lives
    3. Accomplish a goal that he/she has set for him/herself
    4. Look at everyday situations with a new perception
    5. Repeat their success with additional aspirations

The real question comes down to… What does your audience want to do better?
    Find out!

  44. Swami Vivekananda was a great motivational speaker in India. His ideas have had a great impact on Indian youth for generations. His message to the youth is still as motivational as it was a century ago. In his words, depression, weakness, fear, selfishness and jealousy are the greatest enemies of young people. “The greatest sin is to think yourself weak. The remedy of weakness is not brooding over weakness, but thinking of strength,” he said.

Vivekananda firmly believed that youth is the most potent catalyst for changing the fate of the country, and hence the future of the nation rests in their hands. His words have continued to inspire the young people for generations. His message is full of infinite motivation for young minds to achieve great things. “All great undertakings are achieved through mighty obstacles. Keep up the deepest mental poise. Take not even the slightest notice of what puerile creatures may be saying against you. Arise, awake and stop not till the goal is reached,” was his message to the young people. Swami Vivekananda called upon the youth to fully participate in the modern world while upholding nation’s ancient values. I think he was the top motivational speaker in India.

  50. God knows we all need to call for motivational speaker and call for keynote speaker words spoken in our lives, and sometimes just a keynote speaker can make all the difference in the world. I have heard what I call “golden nugget” ideas from many great motivational speakers that have really made a difference for me and stuck with me. I have also heard motivational speaker, call for inspirational speaker, leadership speaker and keynote speaker who have been entertaining, but left me with little to remember shortly after I left their presence. Today corporate leaders prefer motivational speakers in their event rather than mere entertainers. A right motivational speaker can do for your team that huge perks and increments can’t. I personally am a big fan of Dr. Deepak Chopra, Tony robbins and Dr. Wayne Dyer. They are the top motivational speakers. Just watched the video on Naseer Khan and he appears to be a rising star in the east.
